RT. HON. BARR. NWOHA FREDRICK AMAECHI was born on September 15, 1965 in Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State. He obtained his Primary and Secondary education at Orlu also in Imo State and had his A Level from Federal School of Arts & Science, Ondo in Ondo State. He was called to the Nigerian Bar after obtaining his LL.B (Hons.); BL from the University of Lagos and the Nigeria Law School, Lagos respectively. Rt. Hon. Barr. Nwoha has vast experience in Legal Practice spanning from 1991 till date. He ventured into politics from 2003 as an Honourable Member, Imo State House of Assembly (2003-2011), Rt. Hon. Speaker, Imo State House of Assembly (2011), Special Adviser to the Governor of Imo State on Legislative Matters (2011- 2013) and Chairman, Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC), from 2013 to 2018. Rt. Hon. NwohaAmaechi is also a private Legal Practitioner with Onyema Chambers, Owerri, Imo State. He is currently a Federal Commissioner in the National Assembly Service Commission, Abuja representing the South-East Geopolitical Zone of the Country. He is married with Children.
